To keep your face clean, wash it two times daily. Always remember to cleanse your face before bed and in the morning if you have oily skin or are prone to breakouts.
Use an acne treatment. Comedonal acne. Find goods with retinoids. Mild acne. Face creams alone or with topical retinoids can treat moderate acne.
Use moisturizer. Lightweight moisturizers may be preferable for oily skin to avoid greasiness. Winter's chilly, dry air can leave skin tight and dry, so some individuals use stronger moisturizers.
Exfoliate. Dead skin cells can be removed by exfoliation. If these cells stay on your skin too long, they can clog pores and cause outbreaks.
Get enough sleep. Not getting enough sleep may also cause breakouts. Sleep seven to nine hours a night to keep healthy inside and out.
Don't pick your skin. Picking or popping a zit exposes the pore to more bacteria, especially hand bacteria. It increases infection and scarring risk.
Consume less sugar. Several studies have connected high-glycemic index foods to acne, however there is little study on the relationship.
Makeup that doesn't clog pores is the way to go. Look for "noncomedogenic" or "oil-free" labels while purchasing products.
